Shiloh, Here We Come

Well, after much anticipation, Max started K4 at Shiloh yesterday. He was excited and nervous. Dropping him off proved easier than I had anticipated. He got a little teary but didn't cry. I, on the other hand, did not handle it as well. Apparently, I was lingering and drawing it out (per Chad). Max probably would have been okay if I hadn't insisted on the fifth hug. When Chad finally pulled me out of his classroom, I did cry but not as much as I imagined I might. Hadley kept me in good spirits all day. She did miss Max though. She probably asked me ten times "Maaa?" and "Maaa at cool?" She was disappointed that she didn't get to go to "cool" too. She ran to get her backpack for pictures yesterday morning. She always wants to be just like Max. We go to meet her teachers tomorrow. She is very excited.

Max said his favorite part of the day was nap time and that he loved computer class. He has a very sweet teacher, and he couldn't wait to go to school today. He went right in to his class this morning and was very confident. I had a much easier time leaving him this morning. He is growing up so fast!
